Disappointed and alarmed by society's current trajectory, we believe that social networks, as they stand today, are among the most significant challenges. Don't get us wrong—we appreciate the immense power of social media, but we're concerned about the balance of harm versus benefit in people's lives. We recognize the magnitude of the challenge ahead but feel compelled to make a difference, even in the face of potential failure.
We're not college dropout tech whizzes. We could be the person next to you on the subway or sharing a ski lift.

UPDATE - JULY 2024
After two incredible years of innovation and growth, we’ve made the difficult decision to cease operations at Posto. From day one, our mission was to create a healthier, real-life-focused social platform to reconnect people in an increasingly digital world. We secured $250,000 in funding, built a diverse team, developed a scalable product, and reached thousands of users, but the industry challenges we aimed to tackle proved larger than anticipated. Perhaps it’s too soon, but this challenge will be immense.

Though Posto will no longer operate, the technology, lessons, and relationships we’ve built will continue to inspire us as we look to the future. Thank you to everyone for being part of this journey.
